Today's New Movie Review is: Les Miserables by Miranda Les Miserables, originally written by Victor Hugo is an original & emotional story about the French Revolution. It has been adapted to the Broadway stage as well as the silver screen. In the most recent version of the movie starring Liam Neeson, Uma Thurman and Claire Danes, many well loved scenes from the musical, as well as the novel, were cut.Along with the character of Epponine, who is many people's favorite character. Overall this was a job well done & displayed the story well. I finally found a tiny shred of respect for Claire Danes after seeing her excellent portrayal of the adult Cosette. Hans Matheson gave an excellent performance as the student rebel Marius Pontmercy & for all you girls out there who see a movie for an actor who's in it and not the story, he's even hotter than Leo could ever hope to be! overal rating: 4 1/2 stars Rated PG-13 for mild violence & some sex related scenes. Next new movie review from Miranda will be: The Object of My Affection starring Jennifer Aniston

Today's Video Movie Review is: The Pest by Miranda An excellent picture starring John Leguizamo (To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar) based on the short story The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell. In this comic, chaotic, would be action if it wasn't so funny, tragically hip film, Leguizamo portrays almost every character he can do within his role of a Miami con-artist who agrees to let himself be hunted by a mad man for $50,000. This mad man is portrayed by Jeffery Jones (Beetlejuice) and his snake obsessed son is played by the incredibly talented and incredibly handsome Edoardo Ballerini. The major portion of this movie is as tastefull as broad comedy gets but there are some moments that just make you wonder... overall rating: 4 3/4 stars Rated PG-13 for language & sex related dialogue Next video movie review from Miranda will be: G.I.Jane starring Demi Moore
